Music Video: Like The Way – Aer

July 30, 2012 |  by  |  Other  |  , , ,  |  No Comments

Aer dropped this about a week ago, but I had finals all last week and then Homeless Week snuck up with the quickness, so that’s why it’s a little delayed. Regardless, better late than never? Plus, the duo dropped their project The Bright Side today on iTunes, so after you watch the vid, head over to iTunes to download it.

Music Video: What You Need – Aer

April 30, 2012 |  by  |  Other  |  ,  |  No Comments

New Aer video today? Why not? This one follows the typical Aer sound, and doesn’t disappoint. It branches away from the typical “Reeves has his shirt off” theme that comes out in a lot of their videos, and it’s sweet to see some footage of them recording in the studio. Feel good vibes radiate from this one. Download the song on iTunes.

Music Video: Get Down – Jacob Es feat. Reeves of Aer

April 1, 2012 |  by  |  Music Video  |  , , ,  |  No Comments

Due to the fact that I’m drinking Crispin over ice on my deck, I thought this song would be pretty fitting for the vibe I’m feeling. Jacob Es has been on The Throne before, and we all know we enjoy Aer, so when I saw this collaboration, I couldn’t resist putting it on repeat. The laid back feel that both artists have is too fitting for the 80 degree weather deck status I’m experiencing.

Jacob Es’s song “Pumped Up Kicks” is still one of those songs that I periodically come back to even though it came out last year. The kid can spit, and I dig that he is starting to collaborate with some more popular artists. I look forward to seeing what else he is going to bring to the table in the coming months.

Check the video below and find a random deck somewhere with some brews and join in on the festivities.

Song: Feel I Bring (Black EL and Durkin Remix) – Aer

December 14, 2011 |  by  |  Songs  |  , , ,  |  No Comments

Ok I see you, Black EL and Durkin. This little gem of a remix came through our submissions today, and once I heard it, I knew it had my name written all over it. Aer does a great job on their own in creating a unique style, but this remix is exactly what I’m tryin’ to listen to at the moment. Black EL and Durkin will start to release new material from their upcoming EP, The Collage, in January, so stay tuned for all of that. Check out their remix to Feel I Bring below.

Song: Shot Clock (Avicii Remix) – Aer

September 13, 2011 |  by  |  Uncategorized  |  , ,  |  No Comments

I’ve got a raging headache right now. Like migraine status. Stats exam, accounting quiz and homework assignment, and a tax quiz all in one day will do that to you. This is the absolute perfect antidote. As you should all know, Aer has probably the most unique sound out there right now. Their reggae feel and laid back beats put anyone in a chill mood. But this isn’t that. This is what you call great. Avicii is one of the hottest club/banger/electro/house/etc producers out right now, so obviously this beat doesn’t disappoint. Aer does their thing. Avicii does his thing. Pure perfection. Check it, download, and blast it at your next pregame. You’re welcome.
